Content that can make HR Assistant less effective

Some content types consistently degrade answer quality for Sage HR Assistant. Avoid them in AI knowledge sources.

This includes:

  • Outdated or superseded guidance (unless clearly marked as deprecated)

  • Historical background, draft, or work-in-progress material

  • Tables of content, standard legal disclaimers, confidentiality notices, and generic introductions. These dilute chunk quality. If you need them, highlight then in a clear, separate section at the end

  • Generic information, like contact details, in headers and footers

  • Conflicting statements in the same document

  • Images that contain information you haven't repeated in the text

If you can't avoid adding the above type of content, you need to label it clearly to prevent misuse.
