Known issues

We’re aware of the following known issues and we'll address these in a future release. If you notice an issue that's not on this list, let us know using your usual support process.

SPPLDEV-39015	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Hr Requests	When accessing an HR Request in PMW, you may see an error reading "Fetch operation data failed when accessing a HR request". this happens when the HR Request has unmapped fields. You can identify them by clicking F11 which will bring up a list of any unmapped fields. These need to be either mapped or removed. If you’re unsure how to resolve this issue, you can raise a support case through the Sage People community.

SPPLDEV-38950	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Data loader	Data is being loaded even if there are errors present. For example, for a manager specified with a unique ID that doesn't exist, the team member is loaded but the manager field is left blank and needs to be resolved after the data load.

I-8361	Human Capital Management (HCM)	People Management Workflow	In some cases, attachments will not show in HR Request approval actions. The attachments are visible when viewing this through PMW directly.
SPPLDEV-38672	Performance Management	Enhanced Objectives	If a team member is added as a watcher to an objective belonging to another team member who isn't their direct report, they may be unable to view the objective. This happens if Enhanced Objectives is the only WX service available to the user and can be solved by adding any other WX service. This issue is scheduled to be resolved in the Y25.2 release.
	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Action Events	Action Event emails will fail to send if the recipient email includes the "&" symbol. A solution is being investigated but we don't recommend including special characters in emails. We recommend using an alternative email.
SPPLDEV-38772	Human Capital Management (HCM)	People Management Workflow	In an HR request type includes a picklist field, creating a new request leads to the page loading part-way down. This issue is scheduled to be resolved in the Y25.2 release with the current resolution being to scroll to the top of the page when creating the new request.
SPPLDEV-38466	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Workforce Insights	An error message reading "Failing runtime request" appears with a warning "FailTerminalstatus". To fix this, go to Data Manager and select the dropdown menu for the SFDC_LOCAL data connection and select Run Now. Once the sync has completed, return to Setup and go to Auto-Installed Apps. Select the Workforce Insights app and refresh.
	Human Capital Management (HCM)	WX HR Request	Fields aren't appearing in the Approval Action pop-up for HR Request Approvals. This happens when the Field Label is different to the Fields Label of the receiving object. For temporary resolution pending permanent fix, see Sage People community - System admin group.
	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Data loader	Selecting Rerun after selecting a previous data load will bring up a Page Batch Reload Does Not Exist error. To rerun a data load, initiate a new data load using the same file and settings as the previous load.
SPPLDEV-38224	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Action Events	Action Event emails are appearing as plain text rather than HTML. Impacting emails containing Forms links or PDFs, disabling those URLs.

This is standard Salesforce behavior for currency fields. Sage People uses its own exchange rate functionality and doesn’t rely on the Salesforce multi-currency functionality

Even after correcting the email, the error message still shows. This happens on the Performance Overview landing page..
SPPLDEV-30782	Human Capital Management (HCM)		Sorting PDF sections by the values of the Sort By field isn’t working. This happens if the data type of the field entered in Sort By is Number.
SPPLDEV-29188	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Workforce Insights	WI App creation fails to assign the required permission set to Integration user on v-1.5 fresh install orgs. This will result in the Embedded App Data Sync to HCM failing with an error message loosely indicating why. Any reference to the Integration User not being able to access something will usually be down to this PS being missing.

SPPLDEV-22585	Calendar Integration		In the Microsoft Outlook web app, in some cases the calendar event for an absence displays incorrect dates and may overlap into the following day. In Outlook, all day events have set start and finish times, and the times provided by the API may differ from the team member's time zone setting. After selecting the item in your calendar, the event is displayed correctly.
SPPLDEV-30782	Human Capital Management (HCM)		Sorting PDF sections by the values of the Sort By field is not working if the data type of the field entered in Sort By is Number.
SPPLDEV-25591	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Workforce Experience	The WX interface has the following known issues which will be addressed in future releases: The detail page for a carousel summary does not display for some users. In rare cases when a process detail page fails to load, a legacy service tile page is displayed. When an error occurs in the Timesheets process, the error notification is not displayed correctly. In the My Team menu, managers cannot open the links to their direct reports or cross reports in a new browser tab. When navigating to another team member, a service page is displayed for the team member instead of their first process page.
SPPLDEV-24045	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Workforce Experience	When first logging in to the WX portal following a package upgrade, some users may experience slow loading or a blank screen. If this occurs, we recommend forcing a browser refresh by holding down <Ctrl> and pressing F5 or selecting the Reload button.
SPPLDEV-28793	Integrations	MSFT Teams Integration	When the "Enable MS Teams Integration" option is checked on the Time package configure page, it is not possible to bulk load absence data using data loader. To use data loader, temporarily disable the Microsoft Teams integration setting before performing the data load. After the data load is complete, re-enable Teams integration.
SPPLDEV-28175	Integrations	MSFT Teams Integration	In rare cases, the Sage People app for Microsoft Teams might not present the active absence booking card when the user tries to perform another action while in the middle of another process. If this issue occurs, use the "sign out" prompt to end your session, then sign in again using the "sign in" prompt. This will restart processes in the app.
SPPLDEV-32147	Mobile	Mobile - Flutter	Some customers have experienced login and multi-factor authentication (MFA) issues when using the Sage People mobile app. If your users encounter issues logging in to the app or accessing WX through the mobile app, please contact Sage People support.
SPPLDEV-31361	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Internal Communications	In the Sage People Mobile app, when a user tries to move the Internal Communications carousel on the app home page by dragging on the touch screen in a mobile device, the action does not work. As a workaround, the user can select the dots under the currently displayed Internal Communication to move on to the next item in the carousel.

SPPLDEV-28569	Human Capital Management (HCM)	HR Request	People Management Workflow has the following known issues which will be addressed in a future release: Sage People Y23.3 added support for turning text fields into closed combo box fields in People Management Workflow. When a user enters text into a combo box field, they are prompted with matching items previously entered by other users. In some orgs, it is not currently possible to add text fields into the Combo Fields field set in the HR Request object. As a workaround, you can create a new field set to add the text fields you want, such as Job Title, and map the new field set to override the Combo Fields field set in the Fieldset Mapping on the HCM package configuration page. For organizations that use pre-loaded HR Request Types with the Allow Attachment setting set to "None", any uploaded attachments on existing HR requests will not display after upgrading to release Y23.3. If this issue occurs, set the Allow Attachment setting in your HR Request Type to a valid setting (Optional, Mandatory, or Not required) to display uploaded attachments.
SPPLDEV-28634	Performance Management	Enhanced Objectives	Following changes to Enhanced Objectives in Sage People Y23.4 release: when Confirm Before Activating is enabled, watchers of an objective can land on an empty page when attempting to view the objective detail if the team member or manager has edited the objective, which has changed the objective status from Active to Team Member Draft or Manager Draft. After the changes have been confirmed, the watchers can view the objective again. when a manager or team member creates a new objective, saves it, and then reveals it, Performance Management does not redisplay the revealed object but returns the user to the Conversation view.
SPPLDEV-33190	Human Capital Management (HCM)	Performance Overview	If a self review or a manager review contains an email field, and an incorrectly formatted email address is entered in the field and then corrected, a validation error message persists on the Performance Overview landing page.

Note

On 30 June 2023, X (formerly Twitter) changed its terms of use for third-party access. Some customers may experience issues with embedded timelines when using the Twitter Internal Communication type. X feeds might not load as expected, and a message stating "Nothing to see here" might be displayed.

Translations

Sage People translates terminology immediately following package release when the system has finalized the English source. There can be a delay in availability of translated content for recently added features. The system prepares translations for all languages and releases them in parallel.
