Enhanced domains
Enhanced domains update the Salesforce My Domain feature to meet the latest browser requirements. With enhanced domains, all URLs across your org contain your company specific My Domain name. This includes URLs for your Experience Cloud sites, Salesforce Sites, Visualforce pages, and content files. The feature changes domain suffixes - the part after the My Domain name - to meet the latest security standards. With no instance names, enhanced My Domain URLs are easier to remember and don’t change when your org moves to another Salesforce instance. Because enhanced domains meet the latest browser requirements, Salesforce enforced this feature in their Winter ’24 release.
This guide brings you up to date with the impact of enhanced domains on your Sage People org. It provides steps to help you implement them to the best effect.

Data loading work days holidays
You can add new Work Days Holidays by doing a data load using a spreadsheet containing the appropriate information. This is similar to loading team member data.
This technique works for variable date holidays such as shut-down days for the Christmas period.
To data load Work Days Holiday:
-
Complete the Work Days Holidays Data Load Template with the following information. All three fields are mandatory and you can't leave them blank
-
When the data is ready, prepare the file for loading to the system:
-
Review the file for potential errors
-
Remove any column titles and leave only the API names
-
Ensure there's no columns without an API name
-
Remove any example data
-
Save as a .csv file
-
Open the .csv file in an application such as Sublime Text or Notepad++
-
Remove any empty rows at the end of the file
-
Save with encoding and choose UTF-8
-
-
Within Sage People, go to Home > + >
- Select Individual Object and complete the fields
- The Data Load Detail screen displays the Status as Checking
- Once Status changes to Completed, go to Home > + > Work Days Patterns > Go!
-
Either scroll to the Work Days Pattern you want to check, or filter the list view by A-Z. Check that the new Data Loaded Holidays appear in the associated Work Days Pattern

-
The Reason name needs to be identical to the name given in the Absence rule, and is case-sensitive
Employee can't access Sandbox
-
Log in to Sandbox
-
Go to the Employee User Record and check email address
-
Amend the email address if it's incorrect
-
Salesforce sends a verification email to the user
-
The system updates the User Record once verification is complete
-
Select the Reset button on the User Record
-
Salesforce sends the user an email requesting a new password
