Configuration for payroll deductions transfer to Sage People
The Run Deductions Job option in Sage People extracts data from the PlanSource environment and transfers it to Sage People. To map extracted data correctly to the Sage People Benefit object ensure the following configuration is completed.

Login to PlanSource as an administrator.

Go to System Administration > Configuration > Define Benefit Plans.

On the Define Benefit Plans page select the benefit you want to map.

Ensure the following fields have the values described:
Payroll Mapping Code Optional. Maps to the Sage People payroll deduction code for a benefit plan. If used, must contain the value from the Sage People Benefit Type > Record Type > Deduction Code field. To retrieve the value:

In Sage People go to Setup > Object Manager and select the Benefit object.

On the Benefit object select Record Types.

Select the Record Type corresponding to the Benefit Plan.

In the Picklists Available for Editing section select Edit for Deduction Code.

Copy the Selected Value.
Partner Code 1 Optional. Maps to the Sage People payroll earning code for a benefit plan. If used, must contain the value from the Sage PeopleBenefit Type > Record Type > Employer Contribution Code field. To retrieve the value:

In Sage People go to Setup > Object Manager and select the Benefit object.

On the Benefit object select Record Types.

Select the Record Type corresponding to the Benefit Plan.

In the Picklists Available for Editing section select Edit for Employer Contribution Code.

Copy the Selected Value.
Partner Code 2 Required when you need to store benefit plan data in the Sage People benefit object. Maps to the Sage People benefit record type for a benefit plan. If used, must contain the value from the Sage People Benefit Type > Record Type Name field. To retrieve the value:

In Sage People go to Setup > Object Manager and select the Benefit object.

On the Benefit object select Record Types.

Select the Record Type corresponding to the Benefit Plan.

Copy the Record Type Name value, not the Record Type Label.
Use the same Record Type Name for all benefits of the same type; for example, all medical plans in a medical benefit classified under a Health_Insurance record type.
