Limitations

Note We're going to retire the current Microsoft Teams app. Rather than continuing to invest in a limited keyword-driven experience, we're focusing in delivering modern, AI-powered capabilities. These provide greater value for employees, managers, and HR teams across multiple channels and workflows. The Microsoft Outlook integration we use for Interview Scheduling and Absence booking remains unaffected.

This release of the Microsoft 365 integration for Microsoft Teams and Outlook calendar has the following limitations that will be addressed in future releases.

Teams integration: limitations

Localization for language and date formats is not yet supported. All content in the digital assistant is only available in US English. All dates shown in the digital assistant are presented in international date format (YYYY-MM-DD).
On the "Book an absence" card in Microsoft Teams, some users see the text [object Object] as the default text for the Reason drop-down menu. Select the drop-down menu to display the absence reasons as expected. This is a Microsoft Teams issue.
When booking an absence, the Duration field does not support negative values. If you need to enter a negative value to book time in lieu, use the self WX service portal or the Sage People mobile app to make the booking.
