Broadbean overview
Broadbean provides job posting aggregation, automating the distribution of job postings to multiple online job sites. You choose which sites receive vacancy postings. Responses to the postings are routed to Sage People complete with candidate details where they are treated in the same way as all other applications. If your organization has a Broadbean account, integration with Sage People is provided at no additional cost. After initial configuration including association of Broadbean with one or more designated Sage People users, Broadbean is added as a Sourcing option for your vacancies.
Once posted, you can track the status and number of responses received for each Broadbean Vacancy Advert through a dedicated section on each Vacancy Sourcing page.
Broadbean uses a fixed set of data fields to post vacancy adverts in a consistent way across the whole range of job boards it serves; these Broadbean fields are mapped to Sage People object fields using Custom Metadata Types. You cannot change the Broadbean fields or the default Sage People mapping, but you can override the Sage People defaults to substitute Custom Fields from your own org.
Your contract with Broadbean defines one of two integration services:
-
Apply Online
All applications through the job board are redirected to a specified Sage People Candidate Portal.
-
Apply by email
All applications through the job board generate an email application, routed to a Sage People email service.
Apply by email requires additional configuration.
Follow this sequence:
-
Set the Broadbean Configure page options.
-
If your contract with Broadbean defines an Apply by email service, configure the necessary options.
-
Check the Broadbean to Sage People data mapping.
-
Extend the mapping if necessary.
-
Decide which vacancies you want to post to Broadbean and set vacancy sourcing.
