Checking configuration for pre-November 2020 Sites supporting US Tax Forms

Symmetry postback sites created using Sage People US Tax Forms version 3.2 or later and following the steps described in Creating a SIte to support US Tax Forms are correctly configured. But if your Symmetry postback site was created before November 2020, check the site configuration conforms to the enhanced security requirements introduced at that time:

  1. Open the Sites setup page:

    Go to Setup and in Quick Find enter Sites

  2. On the Sites page select the Site Label for your Symmetry postback site.
  3. On the Site Detail page select Public Access Settings to open the guest user profile for the Site.
  4. Select Edit and scroll down to the General User Permissions section.
  5. Uncheck all settings in the General User Permissions section.
  6. Select Save.
  7. On the Profile Detail page select Enabled Apex Class Access.
  8. On the Enabled Apex Class Access Related List, select Edit.
  9. In the list of Available Apex Classes find and select SymmetryPostback, then select Add to move the Class to the list of Enabled Apex Classes.
  10. Select Save.
  11. On the Profile Detail page select Enabled Visualforce Page Access.
  12. On the Enabled Visualforce Page Access Related List, ensure the SymmetryPostbackPage is listed.

    If SymmetryPostbackPage is not listed:

    1. Select Edit.
    2. Find SymmetryPostbackPage in the list of Available Visualforce Pages and add it to the list of Enabled Visualforce Pages.
    3. Select Save.
