Why?
Enhanced Domains is the latest version of the Salesforce My Domain functionality. Salesforce designed this to:

Meet current internet browser requirements

Meet current security standards
-
Remove server instance names from Sage People URLs so that:

URLs are easier to remember
-
URLs don't change if you move your Sage People system to an alternative server

Salesforce is retiring the cloudforce.com domain suffix. Enhanced Domains are only available with the my.salesforce.com domain suffix.
When will Salesforce enforce the change?
Salesforce Spring '23 release.
Is there an impact on Sage People?
Yes, for all customers.
What is the impact?
Starting from February 3, 2023, we enrolled all Sage People orgs in Enhanced Domains automatically as part of the Salesforce Spring '23 mandatory release. We migrated any organizations using the cloudforce.com domain suffix in their org URL automatically to the new my.salesforce.com domain suffix. You may have had URL redirects in place for some areas of Sage People functionality in your Production org until August 2024. This lets us ensure there was no immediate disruption to functionality. However, Salesforce ended these redirects on September 1, 2024 in preparation for the Salesforce Winter '25 release.
What actions do I need to take?
To ensure there are no interruptions to the impacted areas within the Sage Peoplesystem, review and complete all the actions we've listed in these guides. Enhanced Domains Checklist and Enhanced Domains Explained: Next Steps (Enhanced Domains guide).
How do I check if I'm impacted?
We enrolled all Sage People orgs in Enhanced Domains by default. However, some teams implemented automatic URL redirects, removing the need for updates when a URL changed. These redirects expire at the end of August 2024. It's essential for all customers to follow the steps we've provided in the Enhanced Domains guide.
