Enhanced Domains
Why?
Enhanced Domains is the latest version of the Salesforce My Domain functionality, designed to:

Meet current internet browser requirements.

Meet current security standards.

Remove server instance names from Sage People URLs so that:

URLs are easier to remember.

URLs do not change if your Sage People system is moved to an alternative server.

Salesforce is retiring the cloudforce.com domain suffix. Enhanced Domains are only available with the my.salesforce.com domain suffix.
When is the change to be enforced?
Salesforce Spring '23 release.
Is there an impact on Sage People?
Yes, for all customers.
What is the impact?
Starting from February 3rd, 2023, all Sage People orgs were automatically enrolled in Enhanced Domains as part of the Salesforce Spring '23 mandatory release. Any organizations using the cloudforce.com domain suffix in their org URL were automatically migrated to the new my.salesforce.com domain suffix. For some areas of Sage People functionality in your Production org, URL redirects may have been in place until the end of August 2024. This ensured that there was no immediate disruption to functionality. However, these redirects will end on September 1st, 2024 in preparation for the Salesforce Winter '25 release.
What actions do I need to take?
To ensure there are no interruptions to the impacted areas within the Sage Peoplesystem please review and complete all actions listed in the Enhanced Domains Checklist and Enhanced Domains Explained: Next Steps, linked from the Enhanced Domains guide.
How do I check if I am impacted?
All Sage People orgs have been enrolled in Enhanced Domains by default. However, some may have had automatic URL redirects in place, removing the need for updates when a URL changed. These redirects expire at the end of August 2024 and it is essential for all customers to follow the steps provided in the Enhanced Domains guide.
