Absence Accrual Patterns

Absence Accrual Patterns enable you to define groups of settings for absence and vacation recording. Absence Accrual Patterns are associated with a Policy. Alternatively, you can use the Absence Accrual Pattern field on the Employment Record to override the Policy setting for specific employees; for example you may have agreed a 30 day annual leave for one employee rather than the standard 25 days. You do not need to have a HR Department & Policy for an Absence Accrual Override.

  • You can run a report to see how many Team Members have an Absence Accrual Pattern override on their Employment Records.

  • Does your organization book annual leave and absence in days? If so, you may have a longer list of Absence Accrual Patterns to include part timers.

    Moving your part timers to hourly will help to reduce the number of Absence Accrual Patterns.
