Basic configuration

Select the App Launcher and then the Benefits(US) package.

Select the Settings tab.
Sage People displays the Settings page:

Complete the PlanSource Configuration API Credentials fields as follows:
Field What to enter API Credentials
Client Id The Client Id for a PlanSource API User.
Create a user in PlanSource and enter the Id here.
Client Secret The Client Secret associated with Client Id.
Select the field to display the value.
Admin Username The Username of a PlanSource administrator with permissions to create and update information in PlanSource. - In the Import Settings section select the Benefit Record Type field and choose Other Benefit.
- Select Save.
Create named credentials
Now create the Named Credentials to support data transfer to PlanSource. Named Credentials define the endpoints for calls to external web services - such as PlanSource. For US Benefits you need to create two Named Credentials:

Open the Named Credentials page. Go to:
- In Salesforce Lightning Experience: Setup > Security > Named Credentials
- In Salesforce Classic: Setup> Security Controls> Named Credentials

In the New picklist select New Legacy:

On the New Named Credential page complete the fields as follows:
Field What to enter Label PlanSource.
Name PlanSource.
Automatically created for you.URL For production orgs enter:
https://api.plansource.com

Leave the other fields with their default values and select Save.
Sage People displays the Named Credential page for PlanSource.

Check the details are correct, then select Back to Named Credentials.

Select New Legacy

On the New Named Credential page complete the fields as follows:
Field What to enter Label PlanSourceAuth.
Name PlanSourceAuth.
Automatically created for you.URL https://api.plansource.com -
Leave the other fields with their default values and select Save.
Sage People displays the Named Credential page for PlanSourceAuth.

Check the details are correct, then select Back to Named Credentials.
Named Credentials required by US Benefits are now in place.
