Talent Acquisition: Vacancy sharing using Public Groups
Sage People release Y23.1 Recruit now supports secure use of Public Groups for vacancy sharing, enabling Recruit administrators to use public groups to grant access to specific vacancies and any dependent application and candidate records.
Existing functionality for configuring a vacancy selection process enables you to select a public group when defining sharing settings. By default, sharing is constrained to the vacancy itself; no access is given to related application or candidate records.
As a Recruit Administrator you can now use a dedicated Vacancy Sharing tab on the Recruit Configure page to select the public groups you want to use to share vacancies as well as their associated application and candidate records:
The Vacancy Sharing tab includes a Run Now button to enable you to trigger a recalculation of the sharing rules for your org.
When upgrading to the latest version of Recruit Enterprise your org is analyzed to identify existing public groups used to provide vacancy sharing. Those groups are then automatically added to the list of selected public groups to provide secure vacancy sharing including related application and candidate records. Any other public groups in your org are added to the list of available public groups. After upgrading, check the automatically generated lists ares complete and accurate.
