Hiring Manager

Hiring Manager is process provided as part of Sage People Talent Acquisition that enables managers responsible for hiring staff to administer vacancies and applications in the WX portal.

Each vacancy can have an associated hiring manager: typically but not always the manager who expects to have the new team member reporting to them. Depending on the way Sage People has been set up, a hiring manager can perform some or all of these tasks:

• View the status of approved vacancies.

• View applications for each vacancy and the associated candidates.

• Create new vacancy requisitions and submit them for approval.

  Vacancy approvals raise Actions in WX for the Assigned Approver, as defined in the Vacancy Approval process.

• Edit vacancy requisitions that have not yet been submitted for approval and submit them when complete.

• Assess candidates as they go through the selection process.

• Define the outcome of an assessment and select the next stage for a candidate.
