Access to a WX process

Access to processes in Sage People WX is controlled in three ways:

through profiles and permission sets, which grant access to objects and fields in the objects so they can be viewed, edited, or created in a WX process
through the process visibility settings on the HCM package configuration page, which grant access on a group based model:
through policies, which enable you to switch on processes for groups of employees on a more targeted basis

The following table summarizes the roles on the HCM configuration page:

Role	Description
Team Member	The employees in your organization
Managers	Team Members with direct reports, or assigned the Manager cross reporting manager type
HR	Members of the HR team assigned HR profiles or permission sets. By default matches the selections for Managers
Supervisor	Team Members assigned the Supervisor cross reporting manager type in relation to one or more Team Members
Mentor	Team Members assigned the Mentor cross reporting manager type in relation to one or more Team Members
Project Manager	Team Members assigned the Project Manager cross reporting manager type in relation to one or more Team Members
Others	Team Members not in a reporting line or cross reporting relationship with each other. Typically used to grant access to colleagues
