FormsConfiguration options

Understand your Forms configuration options in Sage.

Go to Setup. In Quick Find, enter Installed and select Installed Packages from the search results. On the list of packages, select Configure next to the HCM package.

Option Description
Form Reminder Email Batch

Run Now Button. Select to run the Form Reminders Batch. The batch sends email reminders to Form responders if:

  • The Form Definition includes a Form Email with:
    • When Sent set to Reminder
    • Reminder Days set to a number of days

      • If you don't set the Close Date for the Form, Reminder Days specifies a number of days. This is between reminders if no one modifies the Form since the last Reminder

      • If you set the Close Date, Reminder Days sets the number of days after the Close Date to send a reminder

    • A Template you've selected
  • A workflow sets up to populate the Reminder Date field on the Form

Object fields

Note The Close Date and Requested By Date fields are now legacy fields. You can populate these fields if you wish, but they don't have any functionality.

To rename these custom fields:

  1. Go to Setup and in Quick Find enter Override.

  2. On the Override page select the:

    • Package hosting the object

    • Language

    • Setup Component = Custom Field

    • Object

    • Aspect = Field Label

  3. Enter new values in the Field Label Override column

Actions

  • Manager: Approve Form. Appears when: 

    • The Forms process is set up to require manager approval for team member forms. The manager receives an action to approve each form a team member submits

  • Team member: Edit. Appears when: 

    • The team member has a form assigned that they haven't submitted

  • Team member: Delete. Appears when:

    • The team member has a form assigned that they haven't submitted
