Adding required fields to page layouts

Sage People Country Pack - U.S.A. adds a number of fields to your org. The new fields are not added by default to the object page layouts. To add a field to a layout:

  1. Go to Objects:

    • In Salesforce Classic: go to Setup > App Setup > Create > Objects.

    • In Salesforce Lightning: go to Setup > Platform Tools > Objects and Fields > Object Manager.

  2. In the list of Custom Objects select the Label for the Object you want.

  3. On the Custom Object Definition Detail page go to the Page Layouts Related List.

  4. Go to the edit mode: 

    • In Salesforce Classic: select Edit for the Page Layout you want.

    • In Salesforce Lightning: select the Page Layout Name.

  5. On the Layout page drag and drop the field from the panel at the top of the page onto the Page Layout.

  6. Select Save.
