Creating a remote site for authenticated approval

Go to the Remote Site Settings:

In Salesforce Lightning Experience, go to Setup > Settings > Security > Remote Site Settings.

In Salesforce Classic interface, go to Setup > Administration Setup > Security Controls > Remote Site Settings.

Select New Remote Site.

On the Remote Site Edit page complete the fields as follows:
Field Description Remote Site Name Enter a name for the site, for example: Authentication. The name appears in the list of Remote Sites through Setup but is not exposed to end users. Remote Site URL Enter the Salesforce login page URL:
https://login.salesforce.com
Disable Protocol Security Checkbox. Leave unchecked.
Description Enter a brief description of the site, for example:
Used for authenticated approval for changes to Sage People processes.
Active Checkbox. Check to activate the site. -
Select Save.
The new site is added to the list of All Remote Sites and is now available for approval authentication by e-signature.
