Performance Management enhancements

Sage People Y22.3 release introduces a new permission set to enable HR Managers to view Performance Management records for Team Members in their HR Department. The permission set is accompanied with a batch job to make sure HR Managers see the records for their HR Department and do not see records for other HR Departments, and to update record sharing when Team Members or HR Managers move to other HR Departments.

The batch job relies on the Use Group Based Sharing setting being enabled in the HCM package configuration. For more information, see Group based access controls for HR Managers.

If you are currently using Performance Management, the introduction of the new permission set requires you to make changes to object sharing settings in your org. If you do not make this change before updating the Performance Management package in your org, the package update fails.
