To support future integration with additional SFTP service providers, a new SFTP Service text field has been introduced to Payflow as part of the Y23.3 release. This field will be used to determine which SFTP provider is used for a Payflow service.
For current Payflow customers that use SFTP for file transfer, the SFTP Service field has been set automatically to the value "CompleteFTP", which is the default Sage People SFTP service provider.
If your Payflow users already have a Payflow (fPay) permission set assigned, no further action is required. If your Payflow users do not have a Payflow permisson set, you must apply the appropriate permission set to your Payflow users.
fPay permission set is not assigned, users will see the error: "Insufficient permissions: secure query included inaccessible field" when opening a Payflow service.-
Open the Users page:
Go to Setup, and in Quick Find enter Users.

Select the name of your Payflow user.

Select Permission Set Assignments.
- Select Edit Assignments.

In the Available Permission Sets box, select the appropriate permission set for your user:

HR Administrator:
Sage People HR Administrator fPay -
HR Manager:
Sage People HR Manager fPay -
Team Member:
Sage People Platform Team Member fPay
Select Add.

Select Save.

New Payflow services following release Y23.3
Following this release, when new SFTP Payflow services are created, administrators must set the field to "CompleteFTP" on the New Payflow Service or Edit Payflow Service page.
Before you can set this field for your Payflow services, first add the SFTP Service field to the Payroll Service page layout in the fpay_Payroll_Service_c object.

Go to Setup > Object Manager.

Find the Payroll Service object and select it.

Select Page Layouts.

Select the Payroll Service page layout.

Select the SFTP Service field from the panel at the top of the page, and drag it to the Payroll Service Detail section.

Select Save.

When you have added the field to the page layout, the SFTP Service field will be shown when adding or editing a Payflow service. For services that will use SFTP for file transfers, set this field to: CompleteFTP:
