Configure the privacy notice

The privacy notice is used in the Consent Management component, which requires users to accept the notice before continuing to use the site. The Candidate Portal privacy notice is based on a text file uploaded as a static resource.

Follow these steps:

  1. Create the privacy notice as a text file and ensure it is saved with UTF-8 encoding.

    Use the Encoding setting in your text editor to ensure the file is saved as UTF-8.

  2. Enable privacy notice access for recruiters and candidates.

  3. Upload the privacy notice as a static resource for your org.

  4. Get the Candidate Portal site ID.

    The site ID enables you to create the authorization form record for the privacy notice.

  5. Create authorization form records.

  6. Create an authorization form sharing rule.

  7. Configure the privacy notice rejection email.
