What's happening?

Salesforce is updating the security certificate their platform uses when users and integrations connect to Sage People (via web browsers or APIs). This is a routine security improvement. Most modern systems already trust the new certificate (DigiCert Global Root G2).

Will this affect you?

Usually, no. Standard up-to-date browsers, computers, and integrations will continue working without interruption or changes.

Recommended action

Forward the original Salesforce email (and this information) to your IT team so they can quickly confirm your environment is ready. You don't need to update anything inside your Sage People system.
