WX Translations | Apply your translations

Role: HR Administrator

Role: HR Manager

To finalize translations for WX service and process names, you should:

  • Add your custom label names to your WX Service Names and Process Labels, or the Service Page and Community Updates title and subtitle for a service.
  • Ensure your supported languages are activated in Translation Workbench
  • Ensure the languages you want to use are available in the WX language selector

Add labels to your WX services and processes

Update your WX services and processes to reference the translated strings:

  1. In the WX Service or Process that will use the translations you have loaded, enter the name of the service or process exactly as specified in the Custom Label Name defined earlier. For example WX_Pay_and_Benefits. The name of the service or process must match the custom label name exactly, or the translations will not be picked up.

For further information about configuring WX services and processes, see:

  2. Test your translations are working by selecting a WX Service or Process with a translation loaded and use the Language Selector to select an appropriate language.

Activate supported languages

  1. Go to Translation Language Settings: Setup > Platform Tools > User Interface > Translation Workbench > Translation Language Settings

  2. Check all languages you want to use are marked as Active.

    To activate a language:

    1. In the Action column for the language, select Edit.
    2. On the Language Translation Edit page check Active.
    3. Select Save.

You are done. When WX loads it will seek any existing translations for the WX Service Names and Process Labels for display.
