Default email templates
All default email templates are held as Salesforce Classic Email Templates in the Candidate Portal folder. To find the default templates:

Go to Setup > Email > Classic Email Templates and select the Candidate Portal folder.
These are default templates; they are used as supplied by Candidate Experience portal unless you modify or replace them. The templates are implemented through custom metadata, custom labels, merge fields, and embedded text strings, all of which can be customized. Scheduled Apex jobs are used to automate the job alert templates.
Typically, some customization is necessary - for example to add your organization's logo, unique procedural information, or to change the tone to match your in-house standards.
