Delegated Access | Business context

How customers use Delegated Access

Delegated Access enables customers to authorize an individual to view and complete Actions in WX on behalf of another. Delegated Access is most commonly used between an executive level manager and their personal or executive assistant, where the assistant is familiar with the manager’s work. It can also be used in teams with co-managers.

Assistants can:

  • Approve vacation requests from team members who report to the manager.
  • Approve employment change requests raised by team members who report to the manager.
  • Initiate employment change requests for team members who report to the manager.
  • Approve timesheets for team members who report to the manager.

Assistants cannot:

  • Approve performance reviews from team members who report to the manager.
  • Track progress against team member objectives.
