Optimize absence booking performance with platform caching

Salesforce platform cache offers a customizable option to improve system performance and page loading times. Platform caching is already available to your organization for optimizing WX page loading times. In this release we have implemented an additional platform caching option for the Time Off process, enabling elements of absence booking requests to be stored for re-use during the same session in order to improve performance when booking absences.

To make use of the new platform caching option for Time Off, you can update your platform cache settings using the Setup > Platform Cache page.

Note Many factors can affect system performance, including activity on the Salesforce platform, the speed of your network connection, ping speed to the Salesforce platform, and the specification of your device. All of these factors will impact a user's experience of absence booking performance. Performance improvements are measured based on tests run on a specific system in laboratory conditions and might not reflect end user experience in your specific organization and network environment.
