Y23.4 release highlights

Highlights

  • Workforce eXperience user interface enhancements: beta

    Homepage

    Two new widgets on the homepage:

    • A time off overview widget displaying key time off information for employees - the employee's next absence date, the employee's next public holiday, and the employee's remaining balance.

    • An external links widget which can be customised to link out to key external systems or resources such as payroll self-service, benefits, or learning resources.

    Profile

    A new “My Profile” service type has been added within Workforce eXperience (WX), designed to enable team members to access their personal information quickly, and to switch between their processes to easily view, add, or update information. Personal details, Work details and Emergency contacts processes will be part of the profile user interface enhancements for this release.

    Beta

    A software release of a new or significantly enhanced feature which includes core functionality but may not meet all needs for ensuring broader customer migration or adoption. The feature is available to all customers in both production and sandbox environments. The purpose is to solicit feedback on the scope and priority of additional enhancements prior to general availability.

  • Workforce eXperience user interface enhancements: GA

    Navigation

    The feature toggle for navigation will be ON by default for this release, so all customers will see the new navigation interface once the package is installed. We recommend keeping the toggle on in preparation for toggle removal planned for the Y24.1 release when it will not be possible to switch back to the old user interface.

Performance: auto-save performance reviews

When completing performance reviews, an auto-save feature allows any populated information to be automatically saved and not lost so if you forget to save, get distracted, switch applications, or are timed out, information is not lost.

Performance: approve/confirm capability for Enhanced Objectives

An approval and confirmation workflow has been introduced to the goal setting process within Enhanced Objectives. Controlled by policy settings, this means managers and team members are notified once a new objective is created or edited and are prompted to confirm or approve the changes.

People Management workflow: salary and bonus percentage

HR Request Types can now be set up so managers can request a salary or bonus percentage increase for their team members, in addition to the existing capability of entering the amount.

IDEA-I-82 People Management Workflow: policy field set override

The ability to override the default field set for a HR Request Type has been added to allow different fields to be visible and completed by managers in different policies. This means sensitive information like salary and other information can be hidden from different managers in different policies.

People Management Workflow: actions in digest emails

Digest emails which summarise various actions from WX processes now include PMW related actions that take the user to PMW to complete actions instead of HR requests.

HCM Forms: delete unsubmitted form 

HCM forms that haven’t been submitted and are no longer needed can now be deleted from within WX, saving administrators deleting them from within the admin portal.

HCM Forms: regional date format

Date fields on HCM forms will now respect the employee’s selected country or territory on WX, removing any confusion for users in different geographies.

Leavers: remove cross reporting Manager

It is now possible to remove any cross-reporting managers when a team member leaves. Once the option to remove the line manager is selected, this will also simultaneously remove any cross-reporting managers.
