Enhancements to People Management Workflow

Customer idea: Based on IDEA-I-80, IDEA-I-82, IDEA-I-236

Sage People Y23.4 release contains further enhancements to People Management Workflow to achieve feature parity with the legacy HR Requests process: 

  • Support for field set mapping for the field sets associated with HR request types. For more information, see Field set mapping.

  • Support for giving managers an option to choose if they want to enter a salary increase or a bonus request as an amount or a percentage. For more information, see Creating a field set for an HR request type and Creating an employment change request.

  • Actions Digest emails now include links to actions in People Management Workflow. If both People Management Workflow and legacy HR Requests process are enabled, Action Digest emails display two rows: one for People Management Workflow and another for legacy HR Requests.

    Note

    As part of this enhancement, Sage People supplied permission sets have been updated. If you use profiles, permission sets cloned from Sage People permission sets, or your own custom permission sets, you need to make some updates. See Changes to profile and permission set access for more information.

The release also addresses issues reported after the Y23.3 release: 

  • Issues in saving rich text fields in employment change requests have been resolved, and rich text fields can now be used in People Management Workflow.

  • Employment change requests now always use the reason defined in the HR Request Type as the reason, not the name of the request type.
