The Sage People digital assistant for Microsoft Teams has been updated with the following enhancements:

Partial day booking
Team members can now book partial day absences in the Sage People app. If the rate unit is set to Hours for the team member's absence accrual pattern, the Duration field is editable. Team members can book partial days by editing the number of hours in the field. This field also supports decimal values.

Action Event support
Action Events are now supported for absences booked and approved/rejected in the Sage People app. When a team member books an absence or a manager approves or rejects an absence, the same Action Events used by WX are triggered, so that email notifications can be received in addition to app notifications.

Additional commands
The chatbot uses natural language processing to interpret your request, and has been trained to recognize a number of additional commands to make absence booking more intuitive. The following additional commands are now recognized for absence booking:

Since initial release, the Sage People digital assistant for Microsoft Teams has been rolled out to additional geographies, and is now available in over 60 countries in the Americas and Europe, including the UK, USA, Canada, and Germany.
