iCalendar downloads for absences

WX users can download absences from the WX absence calendar to add to their business or personal calendars. Absences are downloaded in iCalendar (.ics) format supported by many widely used calendar applications, including Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar.

To enable team members in your organization to download their absences, you must:

• Enable iCalendar downloads.
• Check team members are assigned the Sage PeoplePlatform Team Member fta permission set. For more information on how to assign a permission set, see Assigning a permission set.

Enable iCalendar downloads

To enable iCalendar file downloads:

1. Go to Setup, and in Quick Find enter installed, and select Installed Packages from the search results.

2. On the list of packages, select Configure next to the Time package.

   Sage People displays the Configure page for the Time package.

3. For Enable ICS file download, select:

   • Sandbox only if you want to enable iCalendar file downloads in your sandboxes but not your production org.
   • On if you want to enable iCalendar file downloads in your sandbox and your production org.
   • Off if you want to disable iCalendar file downloads. By default, this option is selected.

4. Select Save.

   WX users in your org can now download their absences as iCalendar files.
