Dashboards for C suite managers

Workforce Insights provides the same dashboards to all managers. The difference between what managers see depends on their place in the organization hierarchy:

  • C-suite managers typically have access to data for the entire organization. Permission Sets control access to who can see the C-suite dashboards. The beta release delivers C-suite dashboards separately from the team leader dashboards.

  • Managers have access to data for their own direct reports on the Team Lead dashboards. In the beta release, the dashboards contain data for the immediate team of direct reports. We'll be adding access to data at levels below the direct reports in future releases. You can access Manager dashboards in WX. You can control access to the dashboards with permission sets. The visibility of data in the dashboards is controlled by using the manager's User ID. You need to match it to the User ID of the team member's managers in the dataset.

Headcount

The Headcount dashboard consists of the following charts:

  • Headcount

This displays the total count of active employees in the organization as a number.

  • FT equivalent

This displays the number of employees as a full-time equivalent (FTE) number. The FT equivalent chart counts all the hours worked by the total number of employees. It translates it into full-time equivalents (FTE).

  • Actual FT

This displays the actual number of full-time employees. If all employees work full time, Actual FT and FT equivalent are the same.

  • Headcount by type of employment

This displays a donut chart with the proportion of different employment types in the headcount. Employment types are based on the values of the Basis field in the Employment Record.

On hover over a section of the chart, displays the employment type and the headcount for that type.

  • Headcount by country

Plotted on a map, displays the headcount for each country in the organization. The chart uses the Country field in the Work Location object to determine an employee's country.

You can hover over a country on the map. It displays the name, three-letter code and the headcount of the country.

Tenure

The Tenure dashboard displays the following charts:

  • Average tenure

Displays the average tenure length as a number of years.

  • Tenure by country

Plotted on a map, displays the length of average tenure for a country in the organization.

  • Tenure by type of employment

This displays a bar chart with the length of average tenure in years for each type of employment. It includes a line for average tenure length across the entire organization.

Organization design

The Organization design dashboard consists of the following charts:

  • Future starts

This displays the number of employees you’ve hired, whose employment start dates are in the future.

  • Future leavers

This displays the number of employees who have employment end dates set and in the future.

  • Organization shape (by country)

This displays a mirror bar chart. The left bar chart displays the headcount number. The right bar chart displays the average salary for a country.

  • Organization shape (by type of employment)

This displays a mirror bar chart. The left bar chart displays the headcount number. The right bar chart shows the average salary for a type of employment.
