When sent

Anniversary

When an anniversary of the Start Date is today.

Change

When the field Trigger Action Email on the Employment Record is set to Change.

Trigger Action Email is automatically set to Change when the Job Effective Date field is changed.

Contract End Date

When the contract period ends. The trigger date can be offset* from the Contract End Date.

End

  • When the End Date field on the Team Member Terminate page is completed. Entering an End Date using another method does not trigger an Action Event.

  • When the field Trigger Action Email on the Employment Record is set to End.

End Date

When this employment ends. The trigger date can be offset* from the End Date.

Last Working Date

On the last day worked for this employment. The trigger date can be offset* from the Last Working Date.

Probation End Date

When the probation period ends. The trigger date can be offset* from the Probation End Date.

Start

  • When the Start Date field on the Team Member New Hire page is completed for the first time. Entering a Start Date using another method does not trigger an Action Event.

  • When a Candidate in Sage People Recruit is hired and a Team Member created in HCM.

  • When the field Trigger Action Email on the Employment Record is set to Start.

Start Date

When this employment starts. The trigger date can be offset* from the Start Date.

* Action events can use these dates to calculate a trigger date by applying an offset. Offsets can be in days or months and can be positive (after the date), negative (before the date) or zero (on the date).
