Using Digital Experiences Builder

The Candidate Experience Portal site is designed using the Salesforce Digital Experiences Builder. The Builder is a powerful, intuitive interface that enables you to create and configure pages, customize page layouts and themes, and add components to your pages. Pages and components can be configured for public access, or restricted to logged-in users only.

Use the Builder to customize the structure and layout of your site. The Builder comprises the following elements:

• Pages menu: access the individual pages that make up your site, add new pages, and customize page settings.

• Components menu: Candidate Experience Portal components can be found under Custom Components in the components menu. Drag components to the workspace to create the functionality of your page. Components can be used to display media, create menus, or initiate Flows.

• Theme menu: customize the theme of your site including the logo, colors, and background images.

• Page structure menu: view, edit and delete elements on the current page.

• Settings menu: customize general settings for your Candidate Experience Portal site.

• Workspace: the workspace represents the content of the current page. Drag components to the workspace, select elements on the page to edit their properties, and drag elements to move them around within the page structure. The workspace can consist of elements such as :

  • Header/footer

  • Hero image/search bar (home page)

  • Navigation menu

  • User profile menu

  • Custom components such as tile menus, media, vacancies, applications, or Flows.
