View working time information for a team member
You can view a summary of information about policies, work days patterns, work schedules, and weekly hours worked which currently apply to the team member on the Working Hours Information page. You can access the Working Hours Information page from the Work Schedule Employment Assignment related list on the team member's employment record by selecting the Working Hours Info button.
If the Work Schedule Employment Assignment related list is not displayed, you can add it to the Employment Record page layout, for more information see Page layouts, search layouts, related lists.
If the Working Hours Info button is not displayed on the Work Schedule Employment Assignment related list, you can add it to the page layout:

First follow the steps to access the properties of a related list in Page layouts, search layouts, related lists, then select + to expand the Buttons section:

From the Available Buttons panel select Working Hours Info and use the Add button to move it to the Selected Buttons panel.

Select OK.

Select Save to save the page layout.
The button is now available on the related list:
To view the details, select Working Hours Info. Sage People displays the Working Hours Information page for the team member:

Employment Work Schedule Assignments: Lists any work schedule assignments applied to the team member's employment record.

Policy Work Schedule Assignments: Lists any work schedule assignments applied to the team member's policy.

Employment Timeline: Displays work days patterns and work schedules applied to the team member's employment record in date order from the oldest to the newest.

Policy Timeline: Displays work days patterns and work schedules applied to the team member's policy in date order from the oldest to the newest.

Calendar Display Settings: Displays options for the calendar view and Display button.
Context section
The Context provides information that can impact working hour calculations. For some items such as the policy, the section lists multiple values and uses a check or cross after the value to indicate which one actually applies to the team member. For example, if the team member has a policy override, the value next to Team Member Policy has a check and the Team Member's Department Policy has a cross.
A tick indicates that item is used for this Team Member and is included in the calculation. A cross indicates that item is not used for this Team Member and is not included in the calculation. So in the example screenshot above settings are used from:

The name and link to the policy defined as the team member's policy override. Blank if the team member has no policy override. |

The name and link to the policy defined as the policy of the HR department the team member belongs to. |
Employment’s Work Days Pattern |
The name and link to the work days pattern assigned to the team member's employment record. Blank if no work days pattern is selected in the employment record. |
Team Member’s Policy’s Work Days Pattern |
The name and link to the work days pattern assigned to the policy of the team member's policy override. Blank if the team member has no policy override. |
Team Member’s Department Policy’s Work Days Pattern |
The name and link to the work days pattern assigned to the policy associated with HR department the team member belongs to. |
Employment’s Hours Worked |
The value entered in the Hours Worked field in the team member's employment record. |
Team Member’s Policy’s Hours Per Week | The value of Hours Per Week in the team member's policy override. |

Default Hours Per Week | A hard coded value of 40 used as a default in calculations if no other hours per week field is populated. |
Employment configured FTE

The FTE value calculated by dividing the value of Hours Worked in the employment record by the Hours Per Week in the policy. This value is used if Employment configured FTE is not populated. In most cases Employment configured FTE equals Employment calculated FTE. |
Employment Absence Accrual Pattern | The name and link to the absence accrual pattern assigned to the team member's employment record. Blank if no absence accrual pattern is selected in the employment record. |
Employment's Policy Absence Accrual Pattern |
The name and link to the absence accrual pattern assigned to the policy of the team member's policy override. Blank if the team member has no policy override. |
Employment's Department Policy Absence Accrual Pattern | The name and link to the absence accrual pattern assigned to the policy associated with HR department the team member belongs to. |
Calendar Display Settings section
The Calendar Display Settings section enables you to define the parameters for the FTE calculations and year for which you want to view the detailed information and FTE calculations:
Field | Description |

Year to display | The calendar year for which to display the detailed working hours information. |
FTE Start Offset |
Number. The number of days before or after the start of the calendar year for the FTE calculation. A negative value starts the calculation that number of days before the start of the year. For example, if you enter -3, the FTE calculation starts from 29 December. |
FTE Period Length | Number. The length of the rolling period used to calculate FTE. |
When you have entered the values, select Display. New sections display after the Calendar Display Setting section:

FTE Calendar section
The FTE Calendar section displays the calculated FTE value for each period using the defined FTE period length and FTE Start Offset to determine the periods:
Depending on the settings, you may have 13 periods as shown in the previous screenshot, with the last one starting in the last few days of the selected calendar year and extending to the next year by the FTE Period Length.
The view contains the following fields:
Field | Description |

Start Date | The start date of each FTE period for the calculation purposes. If FTE Offset Start is 0, starts from 1 January of the selected year. |
End Date | The end date of each FTE period for calculation purposes, the length of FTE Period Length apart from the start date. |
FTE | The calculated FTE value. |
FTE Calculation | Details of how the FTE was calculated, using information from the work schedule where application |
Calendar of Working Hours Information section
The Calendar of Working Hours Information section displays a table with a row for each day of the year, indicating the day is a working day, non-working day, or a public holiday, and the information about where the determination comes from:
The following fields are displayed in the table:
Field | Description |

Date | The date and day of the week of the day. |
Working Day | Indicates if the day is a working day according to the work day pattern or work schedule depending on which applies. Displays true if the day is a working day, otherwise blank. |
Holiday | Indicates if the day is a public holiday. Displays true if the day is a public holiday, otherwise blank. |
Label | For days for which Holiday is true, displays the name of the public holiday. |
Hours | Displays the number of hours worked for the day. Displays 0 if the day is a non working day. |
Working Hours | For work schedule days, displays the working time segments of the working day. Otherwise blank. |
Is Work Day |
Indicates if the day is a work day according to the work days pattern. Public holidays are not considered work days. Displays true if the day is a work day, otherwise blank. |
