Setting up Enhanced Objectives
Sage People has two different types of objectives for performance management processes - Objectives and Enhanced Objectives. If you're unsure which objectives your organization uses, check out this comparison.
Role: HR Administrator
As an administrator, there are some setup tasks you need to do in your org before you can start using enhanced objectives:
- Check you have completed Performance Management setup tasks
- Enable enhanced objectives
- Set policy options controlling automatically populated date fields in objectives
- Configure picklist values for Category, Company Objective, and Priority fields
- Optionally, add fields to or removing default fields from objectives
- Optionally, add fields to objective reviews
- Configure picklist values for the Progress picklist used in objective reviews
- Optionally, customize emails
- Optionally, set up action event emails for objectives
- Optionally, add validation rules to objective fields
