Is there an Enhanced Objectives history tab that shows the audit history?

To do this, enable field-level auditing on the object.

How many questions can a Feedback template have?

Currently no specific limit exists. However, keep in mind Salesforce limits apply to all data storage and retrieval.

Can you use Feedback without Enhanced Objectives?

Yes, you can use Feedback without Enhanced Objectives.

Are Feedback templates stored in the Template Library tab?

No, Feedback templates are in their own Feedback Template library.

Can a Feedback giver change their response after submitting it? 

No, you cannot edit a feedback response after submitting it.

Is there a Discard or Submit button with Feedback?

Yes, you can use the Discard and Submit buttons.

Can I save a feedback response as a draft?

Currently, you cannot save feedback response as a draft.

Can I edit a Feedback template after creating it?

No, it is not possible to edit a Feedback template to add or remove questions or edit questions after you have saved it. This also applies to cloned templates.

To add, edit, or remove questions, create a new template.

Can you add a rating scale to a Feedback question?

No, all questions are text-based.

Do Feedback questions have a character limit?

Yes, the field data type is Text Area with a maximum of 255 characters.

If a team member requests feedback, can you hide the responses from the manager?

No, the manager can view all feedback requests and responses for a team member.

Can you report on Feedback?

Yes, you need to create a custom report type based on Feedback Responses > Answers if it does not exist in your org. For more information, see Setting up a report on feedback requests and responses.

How to report on employees' enhanced objectives and tasks? 

First create a custom report type with the following object relationships: 

  • Team Members (A)

  • with or without related records from Enhanced Objectives (B)

  • with or without related records from Tasks (C)

For more information about adding a custom report type, see Create a custom report type.

When you deploy the custom report type, you can then start creating reports based on it. For more information about creating a report, see Creating a new report.

Does the person responding to a feedback request know if the team member can see the response?

No, the person responding cannot see details about the response's visibility to the team member.

Can colleagues proactively submit feedback?

No, employees can only respond to feedback requests from the team member or the manager.

How can a one-up manager view enhanced objectives?

To enable the one-up manager to view team members' enhanced objectives, set them up as a watcher of those objectives.

How to close enhanced objectives in bulk?

Add a new Enhanced Objectives tab. In a list view, you can edit the Status values to Closed in-line. Remember also to update the Closed Date field.

Do enhanced objectives require approval or confirmation?

This depends on the Policy settings. For more information see Set policy options for objective lifecycle.

Do group objectives trigger WX actions?

Group objectives trigger no actions.

Why am I unable to add group objectives?

Only the group admin can add group objectives.

Why can I not see the My Groups' Performance tab?

If you are not a member of any groups, the My Groups' Performance tab does not display.

Can I align my objective to multiple other objectives I am watching?

No, you can align an objective to a single other objective.

How are the notifications sent?

This depends on which notifications you are using. The default notifications consist of one or more custom labels and are sent by default unless you turn them off. As an alternative, you can set up action events. For more information, see: 

Do existing policy options apply to Enhanced Objectives?

The majority of the policy options for the Objectives process do not apply to Enhanced Objectives. The exceptions are the Objective Review Months setting and some of the Process Dates settings. For more information about policy options for enhanced objectives, see:

Can I update the information section on the Performance Overview page?

You can add overrides for the values of the custom labels used to display the information section. The section uses the following custom labels: 

  • Enhanced_Objectives_Header

  • Enhanced_Objectives_Intro_Part_1

What field types can I use in enhanced objectives?

Can I change where the custom fields are on the page?

No, enhanced objectives display the custom fields after the standard objective fields. You can choose the order in which the field set fields display.

Can we change the ordering of standard fields on the page?

No, you cannot change the order of standard enhanced objective fields. You can exclude fields by including them in the Hidden Fields field set.

Can we remove standard fields from the page?
