File delivery for outbound services

Important This content is part of a pilot release. If you haven't been contacted to be part of this pilot, refer to our standard content for Sage People Payflow

Now that you have set up your outbound Payflow service to deliver files to the file transfer platform, you can configure the connection between the file transfer platform and your third-party payroll service provider. Files can be delivered to the third party provider in 2 ways:

File forwarding

Create an automated job to deliver files to the third party, optionally encrypting and/or signing files, and using either password or SSH authentication.

Select the stage in the flow chart to open the associated help page.

To configure file forwarding:

  1. Decide whether files will be encrypted and/or signed. If so, upload PGP keys.

  2. Decide whether you are using SSH or password authentication to connect to the third-party provider's system.

    • If using SSH, upload an SSH key.

    • If using password authentication, ensure you have obtained this from the third party.

  3. Enable file forwarding.

File collection

Enable access for the third-party provider to download files from the platform. If you want, you can enable an encryption job to encrypt files and move them to another folder before the third party collects them.

Select the stage in the flow chart to open the associated help page.

  1. To enable file collection:

  2. Decide whether files will be encrypted and/or signed. If so:

  3. To enable third-party access:

  4. Forward connection details to the third-party provider.
