Importing translation files

When your translations are ready, you can import the files to your org using Translation Workbench.

To import translations:

  1. Go to Import: 

    • in Salesforce Lightning Experience, go to Setup > Platform Tools > User Interface > Translation Workbench > Import.

    • in Salesforce Classic interface, go to Setup > Administration Setup > Translation Workbench > Import

  2. Select Choose File and follow the web browser prompts to select the translation file you want to import from your computer.
  3. Select Import.

    Sage People starts processing the translation file. You receive an email when the processing is complete:

    • If the processing was successful, the translations are now available in your org.
    • If there was an issue during processing, the email contains a link to the Documents tab where you can download the log file. The log file indicates the issue encountered. Common issues include character limits and tab characters.
  4. If necessary, open the translation file that failed to upload and make the necessary corrections, then import it again.

If you have multiple files to import, you can add them to a zip archive and import the zip instead of the individual files.
