You can localize Competency Library Items and Indicators used in Competency Assessments by adding Competency Library Languages and Indicator Library Item Languages.
Competency Indicators are related to scales. You can localize the scales by adding Scale Languages and individual Scale Responses by adding Scale Response Language entries.
To add a language to a competency library item:
- Go to the Competency Library tab.
- Select the competency to you want to localize.

On the Competency Library Item Detail page, in the Competency Library Languages Related List, select New Competency Library Language.

On the New Library Language page, complete the fields as follows:
Field Description Competency Library Item The name of the Competency Library Item where you are adding a language. Select Competency Library Item Lookup 
, find and select the Competency Library.
Locale Picklist. Select the Locale for the language. Competency Library Language Name The name of the Competency Library Item in the language of the selected Locale. Prompt The text of the Library Item's Prompt for the selected Locale. Area The text of the Library Item's Area for the selected Locale. Description The text of the Library Item's Description for the selected Locale. - Select Save.
Repeat the steps for any other languages you want to add.
